Cross of Life (par Griselric)
This gold cross resembles an Egyptian Ankh in almost any respect. When a
non-evil Cleric from a Life or Death sphere applies it on the forehead of any
undead (needing a called shot), the creature is immediately turned to ashes
(Saving Throw against Death Magic at -4) and can never be raised again as a
living or undead creature. When the cross touches the forehead of any corpse,
it can resurrect it at the cost of 10 years aging for the Cleric. The cross
is then forever destroyed after the operation.
Whenever evil creatures touch the item, the effect will be similar of being
directly hit by holy water.

Matara of Blurring Speed (par Griselric)
This kind of Matara sword have received a special enchantment,
a permanent illusion that decomposes the weapon movement, forming steel ribbons
that stay in the air for one second. This time is sufficient to mask further
moves of the weapon. An attack with this weapon is therefore difficult to anticipate
and allows a +2 bonus to hit (not to damage). The wearer seems to create steel
ribbons surrounding him as he moves his weapon. As the adversary does not see
the attack coming, he can absolutely not parry. The steel ribbons hide partially
the wearer, acting somewhat as a Blur, allowing him a +2 bonus to frontal
Armor Class.
The wearer is not impaired by the appearing steel ribbons and sees his adversary
normally.
An adversary using blindfighting is immune to the weapon effects (no to hit
and armor class bonus). The weapon's power is useless in darkness as well.
As the weapon enchantment is based on visual illusion, creatures immune to illusions
are also immune to this power. But disbelieving is not sufficient, because even
if they know this is an illusion, the steel ribbons don't disappear and continue
to impair vision.

Retractible Martial Gauntlets (par Griselric)
It appears as a pair of fine metal bracers covering the back of the hand.
When clicking on a particular space, thin sheets of steel appear on the side
of the bracers and begin covering the hand entirely. The gauntlet thus formed
allows normal finger movement, as if the hand was covered with a thin metal
layer. When striking with the mailed fist, the fighter receives to hit and damages
bonus to punch and martial arts attacks according to the type of gauntlet. A
special rotation of a small piece at the base of the mailed fist reverts the
gauntlet to its bracer-like form. The same procedure has to be repeated for
the other hand.

Portal Card (par Griselric)
This card appears as a 4 x 3 inches platine sheet with typically
an indoor or outdoor landscape illustrated on one side. The art is so good that
it appears to be real. Actually it is, as the tri-dimensional viewing of a foreign
landscape was magically transposed in a 2-dimension picture on an empty platine
plate to create this portal card.
When focusing his mind on a portal card held in front of his eyes, the user
has to imagine himself on the other side to be teleported without error at the
center of the illustrated landscape. It is not automatic though, the user must
succeed in an Intelligence check with a -8 malus, as he has to thought himself
there and imagine the entire picture in three dimensions. Any round spend concentrating
provides a +1 bonus (up to +6). If the landscape pictured is in another plane,
a further malus of -2 per plane separating the user from the illustration is
applied, e.g., a -2 malus for the ethereal and astral plane, a -4 malus to any
inner planes and first layers of the outer planes, and another -2 malus for
any further layer of the outer planes. The user can teleport any other creature
he wishes, but a -2 malus per individual beyond the user is applied.
A failure in the Intelligence check means the user can no longer use the portal
card before gaining another level or increasing his Intelligence score. It becomes
useless to him, though another being can still use it until he fails too.
